Jamey Johnson

Senior Pastor

Jamey is an energetic, passionate, and visionary leader who is committed to helping people find life change. He has been a full time lead pastor for the past 6 years.

Jamey has a beautiful wife, Crystal, who serves in the nursery and on the worship team. They have 2 amazing children. Crystal was an elementary teacher for 9 years. Being married to Jamey made her training as a kindergarten teacher invaluable. In the brief moments between caring for 2 young children, Crystal enjoys working out, taking walks, amateur photography, reading, shopping, and enjoying sunny days. Jamey, in his spare time, loves power lifting (working out while eating how you want), and in season, water skiing and jet skiing. He also serves as a big time wrestling dummy for son and Honorary Mayor of the Princess Village for his daughter.

Ross Tieszen

Community Groups/Discipleship Pastor

Ross and his lovely wife, Laura, hail from South Dakota. After finishing seminary, Ross told our lead pastor to hire him. He then spent 4 pages of a resume telling him why he should. Seeing his tenacious and dedicated spirit, Jamey agreed.

Laura is a full time nurse and spends countless hours serving others not only through her work, but on the church assimilation team. Ross and Laura bring an incredible balance and spark to our church. They have one dog, Charmin (yes, like the toilet paper). In his spare time, Ross listens to death metal and cheers for the Detroit Lions. In her spare time, Laura teaches nursing classes, plays guitar, and ponders why Ross likes the Lions.

Stephen McWhirter

Worship Pastor

Stephen is a greater Louisville Native. You may have seen him at any number of venues around the city because he consistently plays out.

Stephen grew up the son of a minister and has traveled extensively all over the country. He is a very talented singer/songwriter, musician, and worship leader. His wife, Tara, is also a talented artist in graphic design. Tara serves in the children’s ministry as well as taking part on the media and worship teams. Stephen and Tara have two great sons.

Chris Whigham

Media Guy

Chris and his wonderful wife, Shannon, arrived in the L’Ville from Las Vegas, NV. Both lived inDayton, OH most of their lives. Chris has an infectious, fun spirit. In his spare time, he does video editing, walks his 2 dogs, Ben and Jerry, and enjoys music and watching movies.

Most of Shannon’s spare time is spent keeping Chris in line. She is also an invaluable volunteer at LP, and is one of Kinko's best! Both love to travel and are always looking for the next party. One of Chris’s favorite quotes is “you can have anything you want if you help enough people get what they want”. Life Pointe benefits greatly from their loyalty, dedication, and adventurous spirits.

Andy Driscoll

Youth Pastor

Andy is the most recent addition to the LifePointe staff. Not only does he do incredible work with our own youth, he also works outside the church with troubled kids in Louisville. He's a great fit in our church, and really raised the bar with the staff in the area of tattoos and piercings!

Andy's wife, Jen, is a gifted teacher...which helps her to keep him in line! They also have a beautiful baby girl.
