Good People of LifePointe Church,

Today marks a major event in the history, and legacy, of LifePointe Church as we announced the upcoming merger between LifePointe Church and First Alliance Church. Over the past year, God has been leading these two beautiful congregations together, and He has now granted us the opportunity to unite as one in order to reach more people with the Good News of Jesus. While there are many details still to work out, what we know for sure is that God is at work, that He is faithful and that He is laying the foundation for something beautiful.

As a part of this merger we will, once again, be on the move, but this time it will be a FINAL move to our forever home located at 3726 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, Kentucky 40218. Our first Sunday at this address will be on September 10, 2017, so please mark your calendars and help spread the word. A few other details concerning this merger are as follows:

  • The name of the merged church will be LifePointe Church.
  • All current Pastors, staff, and church leadership from both churches will remain in place for at least one year. While some roles and titles may change, everyone will remain in place.
  • Daniel Henderson will continue leading the children’s ministries, as well as serving in his pastoral leadership role.
  • Mike Mullins will continue on as the Worship Leader.
  • I, Andy Driscoll, have been named the Lead Pastor of the merged church.
  • We will continue to DO LIFE together and be focused on the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20).

There are many more details involved in the beautiful merger between these two great churches, and I obviously can’t address them all here. This is why I will be hanging around after the service for the next two weeks to answer any questions that you may have. Also, please feel free to send me an email with any questions that you may have and I will do my best to respond as quickly as I can.

We are so excited about what God is doing through LifePointe, and I personally hope and pray that you will join us in this next phase of our mission and journey.

Much Love,

Andy Driscoll
Lead Pastor
